Building a Stronger Mockup: Our Journey with Cardboard, PVC Pipes, and Determination

Creating a mockup for our latest project turned out to be quite an adventure. Our goal was to build a structure using simple, accessible materials like cardboard and newspapers, but we quickly discovered that things don't always go as planned.

We started by collecting cardboard from various places around our campus. The canteen provided some large, sturdy boxes, and we found more at the local supermarket. Newspapers were easy to gather from our homes, and other materials came from our college's supply rooms. It was great to see how many resources were available once we started looking.

With our materials in hand, we set to work on the initial mockup. Our idea was to use cardboard to create pillars that would support the structure, but it didn't turn out as we had hoped. The cardboard was too flimsy, and our first model was a complete flop—it simply couldn't hold its shape. This was a bit discouraging, but we didn't give up.

After discussing our next steps with our faculty, who offered some valuable advice, we decided to try using PVC pipes instead of cardboard for the pillars. This meant a trip to the hardware shop to purchase the pipes, and then another stop at a local tool rental store to get a cutter for the PVC. It was a bit of extra effort, but we were determined to make it work.

Our second attempt at the mockup was much more successful. The PVC pipes provided the stability we needed, and we were able to build a structure that was not only stronger but also more visually appealing. It felt great to see our project coming together after the initial setback.

Completing the mockup was a fantastic learning experience for all of us. We learned the importance of flexibility and the value of seeking guidance when things don't go as planned. It also showed us that sometimes the best solutions require a bit of extra effort and creativity. In the end, our mockup stood strong, and we couldn't have been happier with the result.

This journey taught us that failure is just a stepping stone to success, and that working as a team, with the right guidance, can turn any challenge into an opportunity. We can't wait to see where this project takes us next!
